  • Personalized safety planning

  • Access to Tribes about jurisdiction and legal issues

  • Access to Tribes and ICWA experts about child custody issues

  • Support finding a local health facility or crisis center trained in the care of survivors of domestic and sexual violence

  • Women Talking Circles every week

  • Men Talking Circles every week

  • Sweat Lodge for victims twice every month

  • Peer support services

  • Access to NATIVE, Inc. Great Plains Indians Youth and Family Engagement Cultural Center

Program Overview

NATIVE, Inc.’s Domestic Violence Program provides advocacy and culturally appropriate services to Native American victims of violence in counties within the Bismarck region of North Dakota. Victims will be able to meet their economic needs through NATIVE, Inc.’s financial assistance and meet their mental, socio-emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs through cultural programs and traditional healing practices designed to enhance resilience and foster healing from trauma.
